Winpack is Windows based packet radio software that will run happily on most PC's from a 486 with Windows 3.1 upwards.
UI-View gives a map display of packet stations. It lets you see who is currently active on packet. It will show distances and bearings between stations. It can display reports from weather stations. It can display mobile stations who are using GPS attached to a TNC/Radio. It has a messaging system for chatting with other UI-View and APRS users. It is compatible with many aspects of APRS.
WinpExplorer is a browser specifically for WinPack. It is based on the Internet Explorer ActiveX Web Browser component. To use WinpExplorer a user must (a) have Win95 or Win98 and (b) have Internet Explorer V3 or later installed.
Winp7 is a program to allow you to organise and manipulate 7 plus files that you download from a BBS or that are sent to you.
WinpLog is a program for viewing the WinPack AUTOLOG.TXT file.
WinpMail allows you to read and delete archived sent mail. It also include a bulletin reading facility with a topic filter.
WinpCapt is a program for reading and printing files in the WinPack CAPTURE directory.
Buttons adds a floating button bar to WinPack. It has eight buttons on it, and these can be used in a similar way to the extra buttons on the tool bar in WinPack V6.4 and later.
WinpMess is a program for writing messages to send to other local packet users. It uses some of the new script commands in WinPack V6.42.
Winpfilt is a simple filter program for filtering and viewing text from the main Winpack monitor window. You can enter text into the lower text input box and the program will search all text received and only show lines of text that contain your selection on it's screen.
AGWPE is nice Windows 95 based interface software that will work with most TNC's and Baycom boards and now most Windows soundcards. This will allow you to run Winpack with a Baycom or multi Baycom / TNC's/Soundcard.
AGW Drivers are the drivers needed for some TNC's and Baycom boards. You need these to use AGWPE.
OPCLOG is a Windows based logging program which was written by one of our local Amateurs G0OPC. It is a really good package with some nice features. Give it a try .. It is freeware after all!
QSLMaker is a Windows based QSL Card design and printing program which was written by WB8RCR. Once you have designed your card you can either import QSO's in ADIF format or hand enter the Data, makes for quick and easy QSL's.
